We are seeking PRN Physical Therapy / Physical Therapy Tech / OT / COTA! Summit Therapy Group is a young, dynamic and energetic therapy provider that thinks outside of the “BOX”. We are looking to provide services to a client in the WEST Valley. The goal is to assist patients in making the transition from hospital to home. A state of the art therapy gym that includes aquatic therapy is located on our campus. THIS IS A GREAT OPPORTUNITY.

Monday – Friday 8AM – 5PM
Saturday – Sunday 8AM – 1PM

The Therapy Tech/CNA position has the responsibility of ensuring that Summit Therapy Group provides the highest level of care in the industry. Our staffing ratios are by far the BEST in the industry. The position will include the responsibility of providing a safe, healthy, kind, and successful stay for all of our patients and achieving optimal outcomes. POSITION SUMMARY

The Director of Staff Development is to interview, hire, orient, and evaluate Certified Nurse Assistants and orient other long term staff. Perform educational safety and employee health activities as required by Title 22. Cover other shifts as assigned. Oversee the Infection Control Program at Meadowood. This position requires providing service to one or more age populations including adult through geriatric patient population in a manner that demonstrates an understanding of the functional/developmental age of the individual served. This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Current CA RN License from accredited RN Program Current CPR.
CA DSD Certification (preferred)
Min 3 years clinical experience with one (1) year experience in long-term geriatric care preferred.
Demonstrated abilities to apply theories of adult education
Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long term care facilities. Excellent clinical nursing skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with staff members, residents/patients, their love ones, physicians, and other health professionals..
Ability to assess, monitor and direct and demonstrate improvement of C.N.A. care. Effective time management and organizational skills. Assessment and planning capabilities with the ability to transfer concepts into practical application. Ability to self-motivate and work independently Teaching skills and ability to write course objectives.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary purpose of this position is to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities of the facility during the shift. Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations governing the facility. Oversee the Infection Control Program at Meadowood. You will be required by the Director of Nursing to ensure the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.

This position requires the full understanding and active participation in fulfilling the Mission of the Organization. It is expected that the employee will demonstrate behavior consistent with the Core Values. The employee shall support the Organization’s strategic plan and the goals.

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE

Graduated from an accredited school of nursing.
Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience as an RN, preferably in a long term care facility or other related health care facility. Knowledge of nursing and medical practices and procedures as well as laws, regulations and guidelines that pertain to long term care. Ability to read, speak and write English and to follow oral and written directions. Ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family, visitors and the general public. Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action. Possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise other personnel. Ability to relate information, concerning a resident’s condition in a meaningful fashion.

Current CPR certification.
